Bitter Aussie lager

Always wanted to try an "Aussie bitter' and this beer pretty much livees up to the style I think. Brewed this beer, in the middle of the blazing hot summer We've had this year, around July.
Made it up with an additional 1.5kg of Munton's extra light lme and replaced the yeast with a packet of kveik yeast on account of the heat.
The result, a nice looking golden-amber beer. The taste? Very bitter, particularly early on, it has taken the best part of 3 months for the flavours to balance out and is now a refreshing and enjoyable beer.
