This is my first Beaverdale kit and my best red result so far. I pretty much followed the kit instructions to the letter but, on advice from another reviewer, added 250ml of red grape juice before bottling. I also added a Handcraft Supplies Super Smoother kit. I don't know whether this made much difference but the resulting wine is immediately super smooth and drinkable. Not as robust as I'd have expected from a Nebbiolo, and perhaps a bit 'squashy', but enough complexity to make the wine interesting. It might round out with age...if it gets the chance! 29 bottles yield @ £1.94/bottle - winner.
