Finally a gadget that tells me when the wine is done

For the first time I have got an accurate reading that the Pinot Grigio is finally ready. This nifty gadget goes in the wine at the start of the brew and sends data to your phone or tablet to let you know when your wine is done. I have traditionally left it for over a month before adding the finnings never quite sure. I know you can scoop it out and take a reading but it is such a phaff This particular batch has taken 10 days to complete thus dramatically cutting the length of time taken normally. Easy to set up and easy to use. Hassle free brilliant.

Just brewed this On The Rocks cider so have only had one bottle so far (quality control).
A refreshing summery cider with lovely berry flavours and would have given it top marks only for the fact that the sweetener is combined with the yeast. This means you don't have the option to make it slightly drier which would be my preference. I will probably go back to Brew2Bottle 's own brand where you get a separate sachet of sweetener which allows a choice of sweet/medium/dry.
