Authentic light familiar euro style.,Ive paired it with jester motueka and sauvin hops for extra sensation over several batches. Great for today’s summer weather. Cheers.
made them all over years a quality brew very consistent good value better then some of more expensive brews in my opinion
apart from missing sweetener very good service
I have made several Oz blend 7 day kits over the last couple of years, mainly Cab Sauv, Merlot, Red Blend and Chard. Rather than bottles, I use 10 litre box/bags for the reds, which I find much easier, and the 5 litre boxes, for white, which fit well in the fridge. All have produced a very drinkable wine, and quality has been consistently good. My only, very mild, criticism is that the instructions about fermentation are a bit misleading. For the first 4 days after the day on which the yeast etc are mixed in, there is lots of good bubbling activity, before it seems to stop completely. Hydrometer reading still well over 1000 mark, and just a few small patches of foam on the surface. After 4 or 5 days more, these patches disappear and the hydro reading hits 1000. This happens every time, and it might be worth being clear that fermentation of the 7 day wines is in two very different stages.
