Incredible engineering

Whoever designed this piece of equipment was definitely a real engineer, The fit of each piece is incredible and the manufacture is flawless. No I'm not getting paid for this review I'm just so impressed with how this is made I feel that it needs to be said. I did worry after reading another review here but I think it is worth addressing the items described as faults. The lid is a light push fit but when the unit arrives and it has been boxed up the lid which is held using some plastic wrap is in a place where during travel it will get pushed and so it goes over its normal position and becomes very tight on the reservoir - tight enough to need a block of wood and a small mallet to make it come off for the first time, Once off you will find that it is a snug fit and you won't have any problem as long as you don't push it down over the resting rim - if you do then expect to need your bock of wood and mallet again. The filter paper is a perfect fit if you put it in the correct place - it sits into a small recess on the top of the tap unit not into the filter tube itself.
The only downside I found was that the packaging box is so over engineered that it is really difficult to get the filter and parts out of the box - the internal packaging is such a good fit that it simply doesn't want to come out. Get some help with unpacking and I'm sure you will be as delighted with your filter as I am - it is so nice it may stay on display as a talking point from now on.

Filter Pro

Certainly better and easier to use than the Z filter .Room for improvement however .
The lid is too tight , the flow tap is hard to control at two drips / second , and the filter paper does not fit , and probably not needed .
