A light and refreshing lager with a sweet, juicy tang of pineapple and a creamy tropical coconut aroma. Pours golden with a thin white head.

ABV Approx.: 4.9% (based on using dextrose as the extra fermentable)

IBU: 18-22

Yeast: M54 Californian Lager

Hops: Sabro

Extra fermentables required: Dextrose: 1kg (2.2lb), Pure Liquid Malt Extract: 1.2 kg (2.65 lb) or Beer Enhancer 1: 1.4 kg (3.08 lb)

So good! I had some great feedback from a lot of people on this - definitely doing this one again

Excellent beer well worth the wait (2 months in the keg)

I started this brewing with 1.4 kg Beerkit Enhancer 1 at the end of May. The raw malt tasted lovely and had a distinctive pineapple taste and aroma. It was quite warm at the time and pressure fermentation in my All-Rounder only took 2 days before I could add the dry hops. I pressure-transferred to a Cornelius Keg a couple of days later and have been sampling it ever since. It's taken the full 2 months to fully clear and mature but the wait is fully-justified and tastes exactly as described. I'll do this kit again in late autumn and leave to mature of the winter (if the kit is still in stock!).
