This test allows a quick and easy method to determine the nitrate in solution.
Nitrate results from biological decay from plant and animal matter as a by-product. Nitrates can be found in farming areas where fertilisers are used and as a result of some industrial effluents. Nitrate Indicator strips can be used to estimate the level of nitrate in soil and in pools and aquariums as a test for water quality.
Simple to test, just immerse the strip head in the liquid for 2 seconds, remove and shake off excess fluid, then compare against the colour chart within 30 seconds.
The range for the test is 0, 10, 25, 50, 100, 250 and 500 mg/L (ppm)
