Ferrari Twin Lever Corker

As this is my first time using a corker, I rate the Ferrari corker's construction over the cheaper twin lever models, as you can adjust the plunger depth of the corks.
I presoaked my corks as that is what was recommended by the company who supplied them, I then corked 24 bottles of wine, some of the corks stood a few millimetres above the top of the bottle and most were pressed about 1mm below the top of the bottle, I think with practice it may get more consistent or it may boil down to finding the ideal cork, I used agglomerated corks which were the recommended size for the bottle's I purchased, I might try a different cork next time, but I am happy with how the corker performed and would recommend it.

A bit difficult to use

Reasonably easy to use ,but , make sure you centralise the cork and buy good quality corks .

I like it. I am reasonably new to wine homebrewing and am in the experimentation phase. I'd previously got another twin lever corker of the sort commonly seen for sale on various websites. But this is a significant step up. Previously I had all issues with corks either not fully engaging or going too far in to be retrieved, depending on the geometry of the bottle neck. Once adjusted this gives really consistent results and I felt there was a bit more leverage that its competitor and it also clamps around the neck differently (it clamps around in a really unique sphincter-like way as well as resting on top) (do I get a prize for first ever appropriate use of the word "sphincter" in a review? :0)
