We have mand many of these now.
We use 1kg sugar a kettle of hotwater to dissolve. Add the tin (make sure you sit it in hot water to get the syrup out easier) fill ot up with tap water until you get to 23l and then add the yeast.
Once the fermenting is done you'll know as no bubbles come through the air lock. Give it 2 days after you notice no bubbles to make sure.
When you bottle it put 1/2 a teaspoon of sugar in each bottle, add your beer and screw on the lids. Give them a lottle shake and leave for a week. That's it. You don't need to buy any fancy additions. Just sugar!
Superb beer thay doesn't leave you with an awful hangover.
