These had leaky silicon seals from new. I lost 2 batches of beer thanks to these bad bottles, until I replaced the gaskets with rubber ones and then they sealed.

Unfortunately these bottles are sold with Silicone seals, Silicone is highly gas permeable and in addition are quite loose fitting on these bottles. I had very inconsistent results using these as sold, around 1/3rd would hold pressure enough for adequate conditioning and carbonation, while the other 2/3rds would not hold pressure and result in flat beer. After ruining 2 batches of beer this way, I replaced the seals with rubber 'washer' type seals and since then they have worked. If you buy these, definitely replace the loose silicone seals with rubber ones and save yourself a lot of ruined beer.
