Great Filter

I made a batch of homebrew white wine but the end result was not quite clear enough. Whilst certainly drinkable it was very slightly cloudy and not presentable to friends or family. Thought I'd try these filter papers inside a conical sieve that I have before bringing the wine to the table. I used the fluted folding process (as described on the instruction leaflet included) and pressed the filter paper into the sieve. I then poured the wine through the filter and into a glass jug. Then I repeated it. It took a few minutes to complete the process but the end product was well worth the effort. The filtered wine is beautifully clear.

I will leave the remaining wine to mature as is. I will then cork and filter each bottle prior to chilling and consumption.

Mangrove Jacks 10 Pint Lager Beer Kit

Have to say brewed this a couple weeks ago now and several things come to mind , its an excellent little kit if you only want to do smaller amounts of Home brewed beer then these may well be the starter kits to try, do not need a lot of equipment to make , and the quality is very high, cant fault the kit great instructions, I kegged it in a 5 litre mini keg and drew my first pint last night , it was
very good indeed.....
