Mangrove Jacks Craft Series 40 Pints Juicy Session IPA

After a few disappointing kits this has blown me away! Tastes so good, I don't imagine this will last long at all! Used the LME, bottled water and a 48 hour cold crash before bottling. Nice one mangrove jack's & brew2bottle!

It smelled great pouring straight from the bag, which isn't always the case. It smelled wonderful when adding the hops, and just as good when bottling - amazing.
Cracked the first bottle open yesterday after struggling to wait a few weeks, and it is wonderful stuff - exactly what I hoped for. I just ordered a couple more packs as I know i'm going to rattle through these 40 pints in no time for sure !
It doesn't get any better than this for home brew in my opinion. I don't think i'll ever go to the pub again ! ;-)

Full of flavour and up there with any pub beer you will try. Definitely gets better with age too.

This is a very refreshing summer style fruity IPA, although I'm still enjoying it during the cold winter nights.
I brewed this with 1.2kg of the MJ light liquid malt extract. Fermentation took 10 days and over-foamed somewhat.
Even after using finings, mine never cleared, possibly due to the fruit juice in the ingredrients. Im not too fussed with cloudy beer, but maybe a dose of pectolase would help with clearing.
This kit comes with 50g of hops, the flavour of which does compliment the fruit, but personally I would've preferred 100g in this brew.
I will definately brew this again but I will add extra hops next time.

Holy cow this brew turned out amazing!! Made with MJ 1.2Kg LME. I left in primary for 2 weeks then into secondary with dry hops for another week then into a 3rd for another wee while I went on holiday. Bottled about 4 days ago and whilst not quite carbonated yet I took a crafty sampler bottle (you have to, right lads?), put her in the fridge and tried her out. Lovely on the nose with deep citrus fruits and mango all the way, in fact every time I went within 3 feet of the fermenter I could smell the gorgeous aroma of mango throughout the whole process. Taste is deep fruity with the mango coming out full force but not over powering, mouth feel is just medium right and slides down for a good long (but not too long) bitter finish. Best kit yet. Give it time and don't rush it.
