Can be made into a refreshing non alcoholic cordial or used to add a hot spicy flavour to beers, wines and liqueurs and also in cooking.
Will make approx 3 litres of non-alcoholic ginger cordial, simply place 1kg of sugar and 2350ml of water in a lidded pan and bring to a boil. Once the sugar is dissolved turn off the heat and mix in the 125ml bottle of ginger wine and leave to cool.
Try it in an old school Whisky cocktail, the Whisky Mac, it warms the soul when the nights start to close in!
Simply made by adding 3 parts Whisky to 2 parts Ginger wine to a glass it is usually served over ice but equally can be drunk at room temperature or even mixed with a little hot water. For a bigger hit of ginger change the ratio 1:1 Whisky/Ginger Wine.
