Bramling Cross has made something of a comeback in traditional cask conditioned beers because of these distinctive characteristics. Brews particularly well with crystal malts.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eBramling Cross is a low yielding variety that is grown primarily in Kent and Sussex. It matures early and is generally easier to grow than other varieties. The variety is susceptible to Downy and Powdery Mildew but shows a high degree of tolerance to Verticillium Wilt.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"font-size: 13px;\"\u003eWe weigh all hops only when there is an order for them – none have been sitting of shelves, they are taken out from a bulk vacuum sealed bag in cold storage at the time we complete your order. If you receive the hops and it appears that the vacuum is breaking down, the hops will still be perfectly safe to use with no degradation of flavour.\u0026amp;nbsp;If you do not intend to use then in a few days of receiving, we suggest that you store them in a fridge or freezer. Hop pellets stored near-freezing, preferably between -1°C and 5°C.
