Muntons have teamed up with St Peter's brewery to develop a beer kit range that accurately matches their popular commercial ranges. Each & every kit launched is approved by the head brewer!

Ruby Red Ale: A tawny red ale, with subtle malt undertones and a distinctive spicy hop aroma from Cascade hops. 4.3% ABV.

Cream Stout: Fuggles and Challenger hops plus a blend of 5 local malts creates an aromatic, strong, dark chocolate cream stout with a satisfying bittersweet aftertaste. 4.7% ABV.

Golden Ale: English Pale malts coupled with Challenger and Goldings hops provide the bitterness and aroma. The result is a highly distinctive golden ale. 4.7% ABV.

India Pale Ale: Traditionally highly hopped and robust to survive the long voyage to the Indian sub-continent. The result is a full bodied Pale Ale with a zesty character. 5.5% ABV.

Honey Porter: A traditional English Porter, auburn red in colour and finished with honey for a truly unique aroma and taste. Honey aromas on the nose, and flavours of honey, chocolate and with hints of vanilla making this a unique and pleasing ale. 4.5% ABV.

Plum Porter: A dark, sweet, full-bodied plum porter. Background notes of damson and blackcurrant are followed by the fruitiness of the plum in flavour and aroma. 35 Pints @ 5.0% ABV.

I have had this beer many times and always look forward to opening a bottle after a ward days work, a lovely beer with a slight honey flavour, relaxing and fulfilling. thoroughly recommend.

Fruity Plum Porter

Just finishing off a barrel of the St Peter's Plum Porter, This was my first brew with this brand and I have to say the kit instructions were easy to follow and the brew time was relatively short. The finished product was really enjoyable, not heavily flavoured with plum but quite fruity and thoroughly enjoyable. I would not hesitate to recommend and will definitely buy again.

Amazing Results

Followed the instructions and added 2 carbonation drops per 500ml bottles. Left it for 1 month to condition in the bottle. The difference between 2 weeks and 1 month conditioning is startling. A superb brew that I'll be doing again and again

Cream stout

This was very drinkable after 1 month but I left a few bottles in the back of the cupboard, 6 months old and wow it aged well. Every bit as good as a pint of Guinness. Beautiful

A very interesting kit indeed even by Ritchies high standards. Airlock was active within several hours. I under primed my bottles for sparkling so my bad I can't give a fair account on that score. But the still ones were the best ever. A very noticeable smoothness early into maturation and that was with dextrose so can't imagine or even see the need for liquid enhancer in this case. Full bodied mid sweetness with a very fresh appealing aroma. 1 oz of the oak chips achieved a subtle influence I could easily increase without fear of over doing it. Used about half the dried fruit with similar feeling. Improved up to around 12 months in bottles and remained very good for many weeks after that. Special occasions rather than every day drinking - it is that good.

VWP 400g

It has been so long that I have forgotten how long I have been using this stuff. Very good value in the 400g size. Super reliable product for essential sterilization of homebrewing equipment. Generally handy to have in the kitchen as well. Can't fault VWP, even heavy soiling has usually lifted off the surface of vessels and utensils within 10-20 minutes. Rinses off well. The empty tubs also come in useful for sterilising/storing tiny items. I Recommend It!

good fermentation every time with this yeast tastes ok as well with the still spirit flavours a lot of choices to choose from as well very happy with my orders and delivery is good apart from odd things busting why being delivered but I had them bits replaced with in a couple of days so I'm still happy with my orders
